JIM MACHT It is with heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, brother-in-law and uncle, Jim Macht, on February 6, 2001, at the Riverview Health Centre after a courageous battle with cancer. Jims memory will be cherished by his loving wife Wendy of 30 years; his daughter Kimberly; sister-in-law Heather; niece Leanne; brothers-in-law, Ian (Jean), Bill (Daisy) and Cam. He will also be missed by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many special friends. Jim was predeceased by his parents Peter in 1977 and Molly in 1978. Jim worked for E.H. Price Ltd. for 27 years. He was also a longtime member of the Golden Eagles Rod & Gun Club and spent much of his summers at the lake. Jim was a quiet, easy going man who enjoyed life and will be missed by all. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 10 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St., with a gathering of family and friends to follow. Jims family would like to express their appreciation to all the nurses and staff at Riverview Health Centre for their kind and compassionate care. Donations in Jims memory may be made in lieu of flowers to the Riverview Health Centre, One Morley Ave., Winnipeg, Man., R3L 9Z9.
